Dual historical portrait study
Few reliable images of Kelly exist and none carry enough detail for portraiture. The work was built instead from his death mask, his family history and the facial characteristics of people from his birthplace.
Two heads resulted: the first addressing the armoured legend, the second reconstructing the man.
